Facades Without Perspective

Portrait Photography, Photography Tutorial

Some of the most beautiful parts of a structure are best captured in isolation, which is best accomplished from a 2D-like perspective. If you want to capture an architectural facade it is highly important to keep the camera straight to ensure the photo will be a perfect square, so the use of a tripod is imperative.  It is also important to cast the lighting equally over the facade, so you get a flatening effect and more of a 2D effect.
