Facebook Default Picture Photography

Portrait Photography, Photography Tutorial

The Facebook default profile pictures have suddenly become personalized, so watch out everyone that wants to be really private on there. Thomas M. from Paris, also known as TWO, thought that the blue Facebook default avatars were boring, and he wanted to spice things up a bit. Maybe people with no profile picture felt safer and more protected on Facebook, but it’s still pretty boring to see the light blue avatar, don’t you think? Thomas used live models for his creative avatars and painted their faces white. The background was of course pale blue. The models are all posing with their eyes closed, trying to be as alike as the Facebook default avatar, but at the same time bring life and personality to it. That’s what Thomas wanted; to “humanize the avatar at the first login”.
